Medtech startup INTEGRATION(인티그레이션) has raised $17.1 million (KRW 23.1 billion) in Series C funding. This is the largest funding round in the healthcare community-based startup space.
KD Bank, IBX Partners, TBT Partners, Korea Investment & Securities, SJ Investment Partners, DS Investment Partners and others participated in the round. IBX Partners and TBTPartners are follow-on investors from the Series B round. This brings INTEGRATION’s cumulative investment to $29 million (KRW 39.4 billion).
INTEGRATION is a medtech startup that operates various platforms for the medical community. It operates Medistream, a platform for Oriental medicine doctors, moreDEN, a platform for dentists, and cheestalk, a platform for dental hygienists, which was launched in 2019. In 2021, the company merged with DeNeer, the operator of moreDEN, and officially launched Chicruiting, a dental recruitment platform, in February.
INTEGRATION provides total infrastructure solutions through its community platform, allowing doctors to focus on their practice. Infrastructure solutions include community, online and offline lecture platforms, e-commerce, business metrics management software as a service (SaaS) and R&D-based branding. The company is currently upgrading its entire value chain with IT and biotech capabilities.
INTEGRATION plans to leverage this investment to secure new growth drivers. The company will focus on improving the customer experience of its existing services and developing new businesses, such as entering the B2C (business-to-consumer) market and building an e-commerce platform for dental clinics.
Heebum Chung, CEO of INTEGRATION, said, “In the five years since our inception, we have built a business organisation that has grown rapidly across content, commerce, SaaS and brand,” adding, “We now want to expand our contribution to the industry with speed and expertise. The ultimate goal is to help people get healthier and ensure that healthcare resources are used efficiently.
Eoneui Song, CEO of INTEGRATION, said, “With so many supporters behind us, we have the ambition to shape the future of the dental platform and always be seen as contributing to the dental industry and people. We are committed to recruiting talented people at all levels and operating with higher standards to create an infrastructure that helps doctors focus on their practice and set a milestone in making people healthier”.
