Artue, the AI-powered art curation platform, has announced the establishment of a USD stablecoin (USDC) payment infrastructure.
The new system is designed to enable global collectors to purchase artworks more safely and transparently while significantly reducing the friction caused by differences in national payment environments, foreign exchange constraints and cross-border settlement delays. By integrating a stablecoin-based payment system, Artue is strengthening its foundation for seamless global art transactions.
This infrastructure is powered by interoperability with the XPLA Vault Wallet, which is built on the CONX mainnet and in which Com2uS Holdings participates. With this integration, Artue can now offer real-time USDC settlement, blockchain-based transaction traceability, instant clearing without time lags, and improved FX risk management — all of which are core capabilities that are essential for international buyers.
Artue plans to expand the stablecoin payment framework beyond artwork purchases to include broader real-world asset (RWA) financial services, such as art funds and security token offerings (STOs).
Having already pioneered the adoption of global payment methods such as PayPal, credit cards and cross-border bank transfers within the art market, Artue now meets the requirements for NAV verification, custody frameworks and regulatory-aligned settlement systems at an institutional level.
A representative of Habitus Associates, the operator of Artue, stated:
‘Payment infrastructure is a critical determinant of investor protection and market integrity in the global art industry. We will continue to elevate Artue’s operational standards to meet the expectations of regulated markets and accelerate the development of an RWA-powered art finance ecosystem”.
A representative of the CONX Foundation added:
‘Artue is the first platform to introduce a stablecoin-based settlement system for real-world fine art transactions. This represents a significant advancement beyond experimental pilots, aligning with institutional requirements and our vision of a ‘Cultural Fintech Mainnet’. We look forward to deeper collaboration as the RWA and STO art-finance ecosystem expands.”
Last month, Artue was officially invited to OpenAI DevDay, where it attracted attention with a live demonstration of its real-time conversational curation experience built on Apps in ChatGPT. Having recently secured further investment from SBVA, 500 Global, CRIT Ventures USA and Silicon Valley–based Goodwater Capital, the company is now collaborating with major global institutions to launch international art-fund STO initiatives, accelerating its transition into AI-enabled art-finance infrastructure.
