Cloud IT solution provider Bespin Global receives USD 15M (17 billion Won) for Series A financing round to accelerate product development and expand its customer base.

Bespin Global (CEO Lee Han Joo), a cloud IT solutions company, recently attracted over USD 15 million worth of investment. The funding was led by Legend Capital and Premier Partners, Altos Ventures, Hyosung ITX, among others. Joon Sung Park, Legend Capital’s Partner, will join Bespin Global’s Board of Directors.

Bespin Global plans to use the capital to accelerate product development and expand its customer base. Legend Capital is one of the leading investors in China, with a capital size of RMB 5.5 trillion in 2014. Joon Sung Park, a partner at Legend Capital, said, “There are two essential things that are required to be successful in the cloud management industry: expertise and experience in the enterprise market and cloud technology. Bespin Global is a company that has both expertise and experience. As cloud solutions created tremendous opportunities for businesses, Legend Capital is actively investing in startups in the area. Bespin Global is leading in the cloud management market, particularly in Asia where it has already gotten positive responses in China.”

Founded in December 2015, Bespin Global has grown rapidly. It now has a presence in Seoul, Beijing, and Shanghai; has attracted over 150 customers within one year, including businesses and government agencies; and has more than 200 employees.

In March of this year, Bespin Global was nominated to Gartner’s Public Cloud MSP Magic Quadrant.
