Coupang Eats Has 6.49 Million Users… Surpassing Yogiyo as the Second Largest Delivery App User

According to a survey of Korean smartphone users (Android+iOS), the Coupang Eats app had 6.49 million users in March 2024, surpassing the 5.98 million users of the Yogiyo app.

Coupang Eats overtook Yogiyo as the second-largest delivery app user for the first time since its launch on 19 June.

Coupang Eats significantly narrowed the gap between its app users and Yogiyo after offering a 10% discount to WOW members on April 2023, and became the second largest delivery app user after launching unlimited free delivery service for WOW members on March 26.

The most used delivery app by Koreans in March was Baedal Minjok with 21.26 million users. It was followed by Coupang Eats with 6.49 million users, Yogiyo with 5.98 million users, Ddangyo with 680,000 users and Specialdelivery with 330,000 users. Among these apps, Coupang Eats gained the most users year-on-year, with 3.6 million users.

The above research was conducted by app/retail analytics service WiseApp-Retail-Goods using a sample of Korean Android and iOS smartphone users.
